Lessons Missed By The Student: All group programs at The FUN School of Music consist of 38 weekly lessons during the school year. However, tuition is based on 35 lessons, so you will receive 3 "free" lessons during the year. Due to our very full schedules, no makeup or rearranged lessons can be given under any circumstances, including illness, school or personal events, weather, etc.

TUITION: Tuition is $600 and is based on the entire 38-week course of study. The $600 tuition may be paid in full, 2 payments, or in ten monthly payments by post dated cheques made payable to The FUN School of Music. Tuition is nonrefundable and due in its entirety as scheduled. If for some unseen reason the lessons are not working out, after a discussion with the teacher and program director, a refund may be granted up to the end of October. Teacher Cancellation: If your teacher is not available for any reason, one of our many qualified instructors will substitute. If for any reason we are not able to provide you with a lesson, it will be counted as one of the “free” lessons..

Storm Cancellations: It is our policy that if severe inclement weather occurs, we will cancel lessons. We appreciate your understanding when we do close. If the weather is questionable please listen to the radio for cancellations, check our website or contact us at 905-309-3886.

Lessons Missed By The Student: Our cancellation policy is modelled after hockey, figure skating, karate and dance lessons. It is therefore not possible to offer refunds for lessons missed or cancelled by the student. It is your responsibility to attend your lessons. No make up or rearranged lessons will be given under any circumstances, including illness, school or personal events, weather etc. Your teacher has reserved a specific time for you. If you are unable to attend your lesson, you may send a family member or friend in your place.

Discontinuing Private Lessons: Should it be necessary to discontinue lessons for any reason, students need only notify the Front Desk in writing 4 weeks prior to the date of the last desired date of lessons. Students are responsible to pay for this 4-week period and are encouraged to continue lessons throughout this time. All remaining tuition is subsequently returned to the student.
