A very exciting change has come to The FUN School of Music! In August 2006, Denise Blaney and Jennifer McKillop, opened a music store and studio in downtown Grimsby, Ontario! On August 12, 2006 Mayor Bob Bentley stopped by for the Grand Opening! Denise and Jenn have both taught group and private music lessons for several years and both hold university degrees in music. Owning and operating a music store has always been a dream of theirs. In December 2007, the upstairs of the store was also leased, and renovated for music rooms! There are 17 excellent teachers on staff and they will soon be hiring some more. With ten teaching rooms, they are able to accommodate needs for specific times and days for lessons. But don't wait too long to book, there are over 350 students taking lessons every week! In this new music store you will find instruments, sheet music, accessories and private lessons on every instrument! They are also teaching group lessons there. For those of you who know Grimsby, the music store is located right beside Giant Tiger. Keep coming back to check for updates!!
